Complaints Wales Seminars 2010

In February 2010 the Ombudsman held a series of seminars throughout Wales for Complaints/Contact officers of public service providers within his jurisdiction. Below is a copy of the presentation given at these seminars.

The Public Services Ombudsman for Wales has issued the following guidance to public bodies in Wales, as statutory guidance under section 31 of the Public Services Ombudsman (Wales) Act 2005:

Guidance to Local Authorities on Complaints Handling

The Public Services Ombudsman for Wales has issued Guidance to Local Authorities' on Complaints Handling.  This document, which has been developed in collaboration with the Welsh Local Government Association, Solace Wales and Citizens Advice Wales has been issued as statutory guidance under section 31 of the Public Services Ombudsman (Wales) Act 2005.
