Advocacy and Advice Bodies

The Ombudsman has to remain independent in considering complaints and cannot therefore act as an advocate for you. However, it may be that you may need help in making your complaint. If so, below are details of various advice and advocacy organisations who can assist.

National Autistic Society

Advice, information and listening service for people with an autistic spectrum disorder, their carers and families and professionals working in the field

National Debtline

The helpline that provides FREE CONFIDENTIAL and INDEPENDENT ADVICE on how to deal with debt problems.

National Mediation Association

Operators explain the basic principles of mediation, answer general enquiries relating to mediation and put callers in contact with mediation providers if requested.

NHS Direct Wales

Health advice and information for the public. Can also give details of nearest doctors, pharmacists, dentists and support groups.
